ABOUT THE L.A. BANKERS
The band was founded by two professional M&A investment bankers from Century City, California, that have chosen to share their life-long musical passion with others.
Our mission is simple: to reconnect with our creative roots, inspire others to do the same, and remind serious business professionals that they can let loose, slow down, and proudly show their creativity and multi-dimensionality beyond a given work persona.
About the band's founders:
Jeffrey Shippy. MBA, CPA (Lead Vocals, Keys & Production)
Founder and CEO of Audacity IB, an award-winning M&A exit investment bank and CFO/growth-to-exit advisory firm for founder-owned businesses, based in Los Angeles near Century City and Silicon Valley by Stanford University.
John Calcagnini (Lead Vocals & Lead Guitar)
Managing Director of Investment Banking at Mesirow based in Los Angeles. John is based by the Hermosa Beach area.
Jeff and John are joined by:
Ryan Voisine (Lead Vocals & Drums)
A veteran of the music video production industry and of the legendary Anderson family, known for Oscar-winning visual effects in Hollywood.
Jeff Ramirez (Bass Guitar & Backup Vocals)
A leader in the Southern California insurance industry.
