ABOUT THE L.A. BANKERS
Our mission is simple — to deliver great live music, inspire others to reconnect with their creative essence, and remind serious business professionals that they too can let loose, slow down, and proudly express their multi-dimensionality beyond a specific work persona.
The band was formed by Jeffrey Shippy with John Calcagnini — two professional M&A investment bankers from Century City, California that worked together at their prior firm. Its roots trace back to a creative music project that Jeff initiated to celebrate the five-year anniversary of the firm's L.A. office.
After Jeff launched his independent M&A firm, ongoing conversations led with John leading to a deeper opportunity — to express a shared love of music and expand upon what it means to be a successful, creative business professional.
